How buying works
Talk about what you want
Your city and areas, budget, timing and must-haves. You’ll get RECA’s Consumer Relationships Guide and a written buyer agreement that explains how representation works.
Get pre-approved
A lender confirms what you can borrow and can hold a rate while you shop. It also makes your offer stronger.
Search and see homes
Listing alerts for new matches, showings booked for you, and an honest read on each home’s condition and value.
Make an offer
Price, deposit, conditions (financing, inspection, condo documents) and dates, negotiated for you.
Remove conditions
Financing approved, inspection done, Real Property Report and condo documents reviewed. Then the deal is firm.
Possession day
Your lawyer registers the transfer and mortgage at Land Titles and releases the funds. You get the keys.
